I started this blog a year ago! How crazy, and I made regular posts, about cooking, my novels, and my daily life. Then, I found out I was expecting!

First came the awful morning sickness, and in that first trimester I lost all will to do extra things. So this blog fell by the way side… But now my daughter is 3 months old! And I am a stay-at-home Mom/Wife. This blog will still be about cooking, and some of my writing, but now it will include baby/pregnancy advice, weight loss ideas, quick hacks and baking!

There will be some days I will not be able to add posts, but most of the time I should be able to. My baby girl is such a good baby! 🙂

Last night, I started my first foray into baking, and I LOVED IT!! I started with homemade cinnamon rolls. I found a fantastic quick and easy recipe at the Minimalist Baker. It was mostly vegan, but I added a maple flavored frosting from The Pioneer Woman. As I have more time to cook/bake, I will post some recipes that I have created or altered.

I’m looking forward to cooking, baking, and talking to you!

Another Excerpt from the Boys

So as I finally rescind my offer to be the Healer, I take back my promiscuity, my casual sex, I decline my fun-fucking self. I will not stop being me, but I will THINK before I let somebody roll me over with their needs and wants before my own.

My body will finally become my temple and those who want entry must fucking fight for it, they must truly earn it and if they feel I make them jump through too many damn hoops I will invite them into my past and ask them again if they feel I am being unreasonable.

I have been the carpet on the floor, and while I don’t take nonsense from perfectly good strangers, why have I allowed myself to take it from my friends and from guys who don’t even deserve to know my name!?

Yes, I am angry. I am furious with what I’ve done, just today I was thinking of who I would remove and why and I couldn’t believe the amount of names on my list that I wished to delete from my body and mind. But they stand there and I am reminded daily that I made those mistakes, but never again.

What I will not stand for anymore is letting anybody brush my face in it. If I take somebody into my confidence it is because I feel they should know the whole truth about me.

I will not stand for jokes made at my expense, I will not stand for people bringing it up in inappropriate times or to people I do not fully know. I will be strong and I will be true in my convictions. If they feel it is okay to bring out my mistakes I will bring out theirs. I will do unto others as they do unto me. No more sweetheart girl watching everyone’s toes but her own and forgiving those who are not worthy to be forgiven.

I have never been a cheater, and never will be, yeah I have a fucked up code of morals, but I stand by them whole-heartedly and know that I will stand by my friends as they try to fix theirs. I am not a bad person; in fact, I have been too good of a person to everyone, most of the time when they didn’t deserve it. Watch me show them what’s real and who I truly am. And let them cower in fear over me proving to them that I am a good person, but that now they will never see her again.

Now I can finally allow myself the joys I long since denied myself, friends who are there not just for their own selfish purposes but to be with me and have me as their friend as much as they wish to be in my life and help me through life’s difficulties.

What’s the point in surrounding yourself with people if they’re only for shallow reasons? I cleaned out my closet and I’m satisfied with the people I keep close to me. For different reasons, they all help me become a better person each and every day, and I, in turn, guide them through equally sticky situations.

White Chicken Enchiladas from The Pioneer Woman/cooking website

I have a preference for fresh food, instead of canned. There is nothing wrong with using Green Enchilada sauce for this recipe, at all. But you will be missing out on an orgasmic experience with the homemade sauce this recipe offers: http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/?s=white+chicken+enchiladas&submit=

There is a reason I love this website. She uses pictures!! I however am using my cellphone camera, and cannot get the great angles in my small apartment kitchen. But my tiny space does not stop me from making these recipes! My husband btw LOVES this recipe.

Also, you can easily cheat as I did and use a roast chicken from the grocery store. This recipe can take all night, and it is a lot faster this way. 🙂 I have made the chicken fresh, and there is no taste difference.

Although, I make some distinct changes. For the filling, I add in diced mushrooms and sliced olives. I also like adding heavy whipping cream to the sauce, it makes it smoother, and easier to cover all of the enchiladas.

There is my little helper/vacuum. He really wants some, which he got when I was stirring a little vigorously with the whisk. lol

SIDE NOTE: I LOVE SAUCE. I love extra sauce on my pasta, my enchiladas, I love a lot of liquid on my food. I am weird this way, the more the better. So ignore my portions if you like it sparse just for the flavor. 🙂

Plus, these heat up great for leftovers!

Easy Chicken Stir-Fry

This is my version of my mom’s stir fry that she has been making for us since I was a kid. She put celery in hers, I HATE cooked celery, with a passion. So I do not include it in mine. *Although I know intellectually you can just as easily add it in during the cooking process.

2-3 chicken breasts, cooked with butter and olive oil and cut up. *preferably strips, but I suck at it, so mine are cubed.

3 carrots

2 stalks of bok choy. *the flavor is amazing when it is cooked down and mixed with soy sauce.

*Sometimes I add in broccoli, sometimes I don’t. Usually its one head of broccoli.

2 cups of rice

Soy sauce

1 onion * white or yellow

3 cloves of garlic

1 box of mushrooms

A little bit of Teriyaki sauce

Salt and pepper.

The great thing about this recipe, is to first cook down the rice in one really big pot. Now remember, I have already cooked up the chicken a previous time, so tonight, it will literally be a two-pot recipe. 🙂

Wait until it is fluffy and fully cooked. Add in soy sauce and Teriyaki. Taste until it is to your preference.

In a separate pan, heat up some olive oil, and throw in the chopped garlic. After it has nicely browned, add in a diced onion. Throw those around for two to three minutes until the onion is opaque.

Then add in the vegetables. *Normally we would add in the chicken, but it has already been cooked. I’m so SMART! lol*

Cook down everything, add more soy sauce for flavor. Salt and Pepper as needed. For extra kick, I throw in some sriracha. It adds a depth and spice normal hot sauce does not have.

Then add in the mushrooms. Throw this mixture and the rice together in the bigger pot, and stir until everything is evenly coated. Serve by itself. It is a full meal in itself!!

Tonight, we dine on Chicken!

I am going to make a very simple Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo recipe.

We will need:

1 quart of cream.

1 1/2 cups of cheese. I am going to do a mixture of Mozzarella and Pepper Jack. 🙂

2 tbs of butter

Salt and Pepper

Chicken Breasts

1 box of Fettuccine

3 cloves of garlic

Optional: I am going to make a mushroom and spinach side. For those of us who like mushrooms in our alfredo, and for those who do not want it in the actual meal. So, 1 box of sliced mushrooms and about two-three cups of Spinach. *fresh preferrably.

Boil water and add the fettuccine. *Recommended time is about 10 minutes, if you like al dente. I am not a big fan, but I am cooking for other people, so I usually let it sit a minute or two longer.

Drain the fettuccine in a colander and let sit. Usually add about a teaspoon of olive oil and stir so it does not start to stick together as you are waiting.

We start with about four or five chicken breasts. *I’m going to cheat and divide up the portions for another recipe I am making on Monday, the busiest day of my week.

Put some oil and chopped garlic into a pan, and cook the sliced chicken breasts until brown and yummy. *You can add butter as well if you want them a little crispier.

Set them aside. In the original fettuccine pot, add the butter and salt and pepper. Once the butter is melted, stir in the cream slowly. Once everything is combined and hot, fold in the shredded cheese.

Back in the original chicken pan, add butter and chopped garlic until slightly brown. Cook the spinach until wilted and then toss in the sliced mushrooms. Everything should be slippery and slightly browned from the butter.

Pour the chicken into the Alfredo sauce and stir so the chicken is evenly coated.

Prepare a plate of fettuccine, add the chicken and Alfredo sauce, and if the person likes it. *ME* Add the spinach and mushroom side and mix together well. Always prepare a little more sauce if you like it like that. I do. 🙂

Macaroni Casserole

Homemade macaroni Casserole.

*This is the epitome of comfort food for me. My mom created this recipe to use up leftover spaghetti meat sauce.

2 lbs of ground meat *turkey or beef

1 jar of spaghetti sauce. *whatever kind you like.

1 lb of elbows

2 cups of Mozzarella cheese

1/2 to 2 cups of heavy whipping cream. *I am French, so the more cream, the better. If you’re thinking health wise, 1/2 cup is enough to make the taste pop.

and some Parmesan cheese.

Best thing, is to make the spaghetti meat sauce another night. So that to actually make the dinner, all you need to do is boil the elbows and add the sauce, cream, and cheese.

I actually made the ground beef on Sunday because Monday is the busiest at my job, and I included the spaghetti sauce. I put it in the fridge overnight.

When I got home, all I had to do was boil the elbows, and mix everything in the pot after draining the water.

I mixed in the cream, spaghetti meat sauce, mozzarella, a little Parmesan, and cream into the pot. I lined a casserole dish with aluminum foil, and popped it into a 350 degree oven for thirty minutes. Or until bubbling and brown.

The best thing about this recipe, it has tons of leftovers!!

And it heats up great the next day.

*enjoy cooking!

Excerpt from Adictions

I’m not sure if I want to go into such graphic detail for the sex. But I feel like it is an important facet. The main character, Vee. Is an addict. She literally gets addicted to everything, including sex. So I would love some feedback on this whether its too much, or enough. Thanks, hope you enjoy!

She had put on the fishnets, even though they were covered in runs from her nails. She had hoped Greg would notice her outfit. In the fishnets and black short-skirt her thighs gaped apart and her knees looked knobby, but she thought she looked sexy.

Greg moved his hand higher up her thigh without ever once looking at her. She widened her legs for him, offering easy access to herself. He gripped her thigh again, this time closer to her sex. Opening his palm, and running his hands up and down the fishnets. She watched him with her mouth open and breathing raggedly. The teasing sensation almost enough to turn her on completely.

Finally he looked at her, and brought his hand higher and higher, up into her skirt. She laid her head back against the couch and opened herself up completely.

He bowed down in front of her, and removed her dark blue thong. There were tiny holes in its cover, and she felt a soft kiss on her sex. She shuddered again, and he slapped her face.

“Don’t move a muscle, babe,” his voice was rough and thick. His southern twang almost long-gone from living in California too long. Vee concentrated on not making a sound or moving. He hated to be interrupted in anything he did. Even if it was something he was doing to her.

He stayed right on the tip of her clit. Just slowly lapping at it, getting it swollen and wet. He dipped one finger in, just to see how wet she actually was. If she wasn’t wet enough, she would get slapped again. She held her breath.

“Mmmm, good babe.” He stuck three fingers in viciously. And forced her to a fast climax. Satisfied with himself.

She sighed, and he tore off his jeans, forced his dick into her mouth, and she sucked greedily at it. She licked and sucked at it just the way he liked. If she did it wrong, he would correct her by yanking her hair until she did it right. She kept sucking and sucking.

Using her hands to grab the entire shaft, she focused on his tip. Licking the small beads of pre-cum that had gathered. He grabbed a fistful of her hair and forced her head back, and kissed her. She shivered. Tasting his dick, and the taste of herself on her lips. He turned her over and violently shoved his fingers in again, she tensed up and tried to relax.

“You’re not wet anymore.” His voice was mocking, like a school teacher. He grabbed his tee-shirt, and gagged her with it.

He pulled her across his lap and lovingly rubbed his hand across her ass. Then out of nowhere, he smacked his entire palm across her butt-cheek.

Her body surged with pain, the tingle crossing over to her clit and she sighed. MORE, she though, MORE.

He rubbed the spot again, and then delivered another stinging smack. She felt her body get warmer from the inside. This heat that traveled from her stinging ass, around to her engorged clit up to her stomach and head. She screamed through the gag.
